Pricing your art

I have been able to do a little research on pricing art and found the following example. I was interested because I wondered about prints of original art. Check it out. It has different sizes and types of paper or canvas. The image is the same one from an original painting. Just thought people might be interested especially if you're selling your art for Christmas.

more on abstract painting

While I was a You Tube I looked around some more. Here is another artist with a different approach and uses acrylic paint. It's only 2!/2 minutes long.

Abstract Painting

At the Artist Collective reception after the Xmas sale a few of us were talking about painting in the abstract. I came across this artist who talks about her process and art on You Tube. It's interesting in part because she uses different size panels that she assembles together at the finish. Take a look and let me know what you think about her work. I posted it on my blog but I don't think many of you visit it so I thought I'd put it here as well.

Opportunities for Artists

I came across this resource while researching for Professional Practices project. The City of Vancouver has a Public-Art-Online list with public art opportunities for artists.  It includes Civic, provincial, national and international lists. Thought it might tweak people's curiosity of what's available to include as part of your art practice.
